brief update
No time to write, must play computer game to exclusion of all other forms of entertainment or productivity. I didn't get anything done tonight except I'm working on a really, really pretty house for The Sims 2. Looking at other houses online inspired me. I've always had a knack for putting together nice-looking houses, but I think it all clicked a little bit and this is by far the best design I've had. Not that this is important on any grand scale except that I really enjoyed my evening of sloth. The trouble is that I also need to get stuff done. Bah.
Oh, and we have a drought. And, I've been hearing people talk about this supposed drought for weeks, and I kept thinking.. but it just rained! Just.. but then when I tried to put a time on that rain, I couldn't come up with anything. And so I have had this feeling that this "drought" is really just a bunch of crazy people trying to inspire concern in random, otherwise stable humans. (Even M! Even he has been talking about this drought thing!) And then, today, I happened to notice that all the grass is dead. Hmph. Maybe there was something to all that talk of it not raining enough this year. Who would have thought?
