Surely Mommy deserves a spot in the ratings?

Evelyn was watching a Sesame Street DVD this morning. When I went to get her out of her high chair, the dvd was at its menu, with a pic of Elmo, Oscar and Telly. I pointed at Oscar, who is one of her favorites now... not quite to the same level as Elmo, of course, but still.

K: Who’s this? Is this Elmo?

Evie: *nodding agreeably*

K: That’s not Elmo! That’s Oscar! Who’s this? (*pointing at Telly*) Is this Elmo?

Evie: *grinning and shaking head vehemently* Tellllllldy!

K: That’s right! And who is this? (*pointing to Oscar*)

Evie: Ahh-car!

K: Yeah! Now who do you like best?

Evie: Daddy.

And then I died of all the cuteness.
