Sure, there's no harm in giving it a try, and you don't really need to be that geeky to like it. I always spend a little while customizing it to my own preferences before I use it. If you don't like it, you may want to spend a few minutes going through the preferences and maybe reading stuff online about it. But like I said, Firefox is good, too.. if you're happy with it, then there's not necessarily a reason to switch. :)

(Of course, my Swede has to occasionally grumble about Opera being a Norwegian product, but being good even so...)
