I have to say, I don't know if I'm just not crunchy enough or if I just never spent any time prior to having kids of my own thinking about the whole business, I just know that I didn't feel like the actual birth process was all that and a bag of chips. I don't know why there's such a big build-up about it and why people who end up having c-sections ever feel (or are made to feel somehow) like they missed out on something. To me the miraculous and exciting part is the actually being pregnant part and having this whole person growing and moving inside. The actual getting the kid out part? Not my favorite part.
