To my happy box friend, [livejournal.com profile] britishcowgirl: I got a happy box in the mail today! It is fantastic! She sent me the coolest apron. I tried to put it on but Evelyn snatched it away from me right away, saying "ME ME ME ME ME!" So. I will have to post a picture of her in it.. it was cute. If our camera isn't dead.. there is some question at the moment. It also reminded me that I had thought of sewing some aprons before, but I never got around to it. That would be a great thing to use my Granny's old fabric for. I could make one for all my female family members! Never gonna happen but I can talk about it anyway. Thank you so much!

To my gardening friend, [livejournal.com profile] grain_damaged: please grow me a luffa. That is teh awesome. Okay, just kidding, you don't have to grow me one but it really is pretty awesome. I didn't know they grew like that! Personally, I always thought luffas just came from the plastic factory.. shows what I know. :)

To my husband, [livejournal.com profile] totte: Stop nagging, I'm on my way!

I was going to write notes to a few more people but I ran out of time. Bedtime seems to get earlier every day. Bleargh.

Heehee - You send me the seeds and I'll happily grow you sponges! What fun!

Okay, not sure why but that luffa kind of seriously icks me out. I never knew it was a plant either. Now that I do I don't think I can ever use one again.

That luffa is so cool! Now I want to grow one! Too bad we have stupid HOA rules that say we are not allowed to grow anything over four feet.

Sorry! I thought it was cool but also, I am not totally sure how well I'd like to use one. I always use those plastic mesh poofy things. I like knowing I can throw it in the washer with some bleach.

Isn't it cool? I hadn't given it much thought, but if I had, I wouldn't have pictured one growing in a zucchini-ish plant.

hehe. :) I fear it was just a whim but it was pretty neat. I am not much of a gardener myself, so I thought of you. I can keep houseplants alive but we don't have enough sunlight in our yard for growing much that isn't there already. Also, this is an excellent excuse for not bothering with it. :)

Heehee - that's good because it was getting really late (already) to start seeds for a loofa! Apparently they have a very long growing season. Except now (you brat) I really want to grow one! lol... dang it. Guess I'll have to wait till next year anyway. Well it'll give me something to do in Jan. when I'm cold and bored.

You could grow it anyway and when it got 4' high trellis it to grow sideways! lol

so glad it arrived safely - I'd love to see the pics if possible
