Oooo! Don't even get me started! Yes, I have been into Bill's Grill more times than I care to admit, and I was a proper Morehead citizen for a while there. Yes, I was a college student, but I had lived there for a year and a half before I went back to school.
I totally agree about Boomerang's, how outrageous it is to charge cover there even to just eat. Once liquor licenses popped up, everybody lost their damn minds.
There is really nowhere to eat in Morehead. I've eaten at D's 3 times (once for lunch, twice for dinner) and I was never impressed with it. I had duck l'orange that was overcooked and smeared in what appeared to be orange marmalade. Their hummus was straight out of a package (I could even identify which flavor they were using, and recognized it as a brand from Kroger). I forget my other meal there - it didn't stand out.
Combine all this with the fact that Jimbo's is closed, and I just don't even want to think about it anymore.
