LotR mainly

We watched the second LotR movie tonight in preparation of watching the third sometime this week. It just didn't work for us to go see it in the middle of the week like this, what with me being sick and M driving 150 miles a day. Anyway, we had great fun, mostly with making snide remarks. I really am feeling better. My favorite was when M asked why they didn't just give the ring to a Jedi.. see, I told you that he's been playing that game too much! :)

I do know one thing about the third movie without even seeing it--Frodo will fall down. That has got to be the clumsiest hobbit in Middle Earth. M and I are going to play a drinking game. There are countless ones abounding on the internet, but our rules will be down and dirty and we'll be dead drunk in no time. Here they are--take a drink when Frodo falls down, when a hobbit expresses his preference for sexual acts with other men, and when Sam complains. We might need to look into some sort of alcohol injection system, because it's impossible to drink that fast.

Also, I think everyone can attest to the fact that I am not one to moan over good-looking celebrities, but I can't get over how hot these manly creatures are. I can't even decide which one I like the best. I even looked twice at an orc tonight. I just seem to like that rugged and dangerous look. which is funny, really, because to my great happiness, my M is very clean-cut. :) If he started looking like Aragorn, I'd hand him a bar of soap, direct him to the shower and tell him to shave while he was at it. I guess it's just one of those things that's nice in theory. (Like communism or group sex--eh, never mind, long story and I think you would have had to have been there.) Since M and I have had long discussions on who is the hottest chick in Hollywood, I figure he can't begrudge me this. ;)

I'm fiddling with the site again, though, but what I'm doing might amount to procrastination. I figure that's okay since my brain is still muddled with illness.. I'm not losing any time I would otherwise be spending on productivity. :) I received the first fully completed article this morning, and I think that's pretty exciting, since I'm the last stop for these things. I can't wait to read this thing. I was sitting there today wondering if we could speed the whole thing along and go live sooner than mid-January today. ;) Nevermind that the site isn't done.. ha. ;) Always have to think big, you know. Anyway, I'm having fun with it which is as much as I can hope for, I figure.

ok... I've missed the whole sexual preference for hobbits thing! When have they discussed that???? :)

*grin* Okay, so they don't come right out and SAY it, but next time you see it, check out the longing looks and the things that they say to each other. Tere was one scene at the end of the Two Towers when Frodo says "Samwise the Brave" and Sam gets all gooey about it.. Frodo walks off with a smug "I'm gonna get some tonight" look. It's really hilarious, though I don't think that was the affect they were hoping for..

that is too funny!!!

Sounds like you were having your own private MST3K, too bad it wasn't on tape, I would have watched it! Don't forget to let me know when/what you want me to start on anything web-related for MM: you don't have to do it all yourself!

We made the movie very fun last night. We've both accepted that we both really like it, so it was therefore okay to make fun of it.

Alright. I'm actually looking into content management systems at the moment, which should greatly reduce the load of everyone involved.. I've spent two sick days playing with the idea and deciding yesterday afternoon that it was decidedly a good one. I wasn't sure at first if it would be worth it, but I think it will. When I get a little farther, I'll show you. At the moment, I could have a nice-looking site live by Monday at the latest, so the possibilities are making me positively giddy.

Who is the hottest chick in Hollywood? :)

Is it one of Ashley Judd, Sandra Bullock or Charlize Theron? Or am I wrong? :)

And you cannot be serious about finding an orc attractive.....? ;)

I think we came up with Charlize Theron as a possibility along with someone else, but I can't remember who. I think my suggestion was Rebecca Romjin-Stamos, but we didn't settle on her, I remember.

No, I wasn't serious. :) I did make a joke about it, though!

Oh bugger, I was looking for an insightful response..... :)

Okay, M and I discussed this again just now on the phone, and officially decided to reopen the discussion later. *giggle* We settled on Cameron Diaz, actually, but she's not as pretty lately as she used to be. M thinks Sandra Bullock was on our list, but I don't. Lately, I've also added Angelina Jolie to the mix, partly in fascination--I've never seen someone so pretty who can be SO UGLY.

Oh goodie :) I was going to add Cameron Diaz, funny you say that, although the recent broken nose incident has not been great for her. And you're right about Jolie - there's somethere there and something so NOT.

I'd say Ashley, Sandra or Cameron actually.
