Group hug

You all had such fabulous reasons for having your favorite letters. It made me proud to know you. That's all I wanted to say.

Awwww. Hugs right back at ya! That was a great topic. I am now thinking about those days and how it could become a story! Good writing prompt!

Aww, shucks. :) It was really interesting to hear everyone's answers!

Oh sure, kick sand in my face.... ;)

But.. I don't have any sand, so I couldn't have kicked any in your face! There's no sand worth speaking of around here--it's not like some places I know of where people jot off to the beach at any given moment! :p I am, by the way, up to Adelaide in the Bill Bryson book, which coincides with your weekend trip. :) I've been reading hopelessly slowly, just a few minutes a day or so. I've decided to keep a non-fiction book going at all times, and that, of course, means that I have to ration my non-fiction time a little closely. ;)

Good idea :) He rather liked Adelaide which was lovely to read as a lot of people sledge it in Australia, in the same way that a New Yorker might sledge a Moreheadian I guess ;) I'm glad you're still reading it though. I really need to find another good non-fiction book to read - I think I'll get one at the airport.
