Under the Same Sky

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. My paternal grandmother is really important to me, too, and she's been having tons of health problems for the past three years. When I was back east visiting with her, she had had diarrhea (sp? can never spell that right) for three weeks. After much discussion, I got her to drink some Gatorade watered down with clear Pedialyte (she refuses to drink the Pedialyte, so it was a covert ingredient). I also made Crystal Light (one of her favorite drinks) with clear Pedialyte. And I made her a margarita mix with -- yep, clear Pedialyte. She was doing much better by the time I left, but I imagine it's only a matter of time before she's back in the hospital with something. I hate it. I worry about her dying because I know I'm going to miss her something fierce.

Anyway, I really am sorry to hear about your grandmother. :(
