Exciting News!

Ahem!

I am now officially joining the ranks of the gainfully employed as a programmer for a state agency in Frankfort.

I start on Monday, May 17th.

Which I guess means that we should.. you know. Find a place to live and all that.

Knew it was bound to happen if we finished putting new floors in this place!

*grin* I think it will only work if you consciously put off new floors for a few years because you don't think you'll be there long enough to enjoy it. But it's worth a shot (particularly if you really do want new floors!)

That's crazy! We almost needed to hire a COBOL programmer a week ago, but then that project fell through, so no need. It's weird how knowing an obscure language can make you highly valuable in a certain niche.
