Oh, my.

I must admit that I'm not the best person in the world to remember to get a haircut. It grows until I can't stand it anymore, and then I cut it. However, I think it's uncalled for that Fantastic Sam's has taken it upon themselves to nag me about it. I got no less than thirteen full-color flyers in the mail today, begging me to come in for an awesome new style. I had no idea it was that bad. Wasn't it Fantastic Sam's that cut [livejournal.com profile] stewlis's hair about four inches shorter on one side than the other? Because if they're the people giving me fashion advice, I must be in serious trouble.

Did ya' get any coupons? I need to go in a get my hair cut. I like that Fantastic Sam's does a shampoo with your cut, whereas some places don't (Great Clips, I'm looking at you). It is a franchise though, so you never know how qualified the stylist renting the stall is.

It wasn't quite as drastic as 4 inches, but it was very noticable, and it was Fantastic Sam's...not at all fantastic! However, this was the one in Maysville where there was exactly one good stylist, who has since then opened up her own shop in town. I have never been back to another Fantastic Sam's. I actually prefer those individually owned places, like Tammy's or a place I go to here that does a great job, called "Hair and Kids Dimensions." If I were you, I'd drive back to Morehead to have Tammy cut it! I miss her hair cuts.
