I must admit that I'm not the best person in the world to remember to get a haircut. It grows until I can't stand it anymore, and then I cut it. However, I think it's uncalled for that Fantastic Sam's has taken it upon themselves to nag me about it. I got no less than thirteen full-color flyers in the mail today, begging me to come in for an awesome new style. I had no idea it was that bad. Wasn't it Fantastic Sam's that cut [livejournal.com profile] stewlis's hair about four inches shorter on one side than the other? Because if they're the people giving me fashion advice, I must be in serious trouble.

I noticed that about Tammy, she was damn hard to get an appointment with there at the end. You almost had to schedule the day you had your hair cut for the next one 8 weeks later! I tried when we went home the whole first year or so to get another cut with her, but only being home a week or so at a time, it was never far enough in advance. I'm sure there's a good place in Frankfort somewhere, but finding it is the trick. I found the place I go to here by asking a few people who had good haircuts similar to how I wanted mine done where they had theirs done, and Hair & Kids kept coming up, so I decided that was the place. Expensive, but worth it for a good haircut. I end up paying about $24 for a shampoo, cut, and style (blow drying is apparently "styling" but I can only get by without that when it's warm out). I miss paying Tammy only $12 or 14!
