I completely forgot to write yesterday. I thought of it once, when I was all sleepy, but then Magnus decided it was bedtime--very unusual, so I went to bed early.. er. I also slept lateish this morning, as there was another incredible storm and it woke me up a bit, and I find it impossible to get up if it's that dark in the room.

Anyway. Now I'm trying to figure out exactly what I'm going to do with the day. No clue what that would be.

So, what was yesterday like? Funny, I'm having a hard time remembering. I had leftovers for lunch, and it was nummy. Broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes. The parents were down at the shop most all day working, so I popped in and out to talk to them a bit. Oh! I used a drill press! It was all fun! :) I got a CD from Lisa in the mail, and a cute little letter. And the parents are looking at a trailer to put in front of us that's being sold at auction.. well, right now. So Mom and I went up to look at it, and it was surprisingly nice, considering Dad's penchant for being interested in buying junk. I has a few problems.. namely it needs the kitchen floor replaced, the roof fixed, the bedroom carpet replaced, and a LOT of cleaning and basic maintenance. We suspect that the people who lived there before (it was repossessed) were nasty. Anyway, we discussed briefly the possibility of us moving into it.. which would be both fun and a pain. The modem! We'd have to have it reconnected over there! Eek! *giggle* :)

After Magnus came home, we got ready and met the parents and Aunt Rita and Uncle Vaughn and Brad and Chris (a friend of his) at Cutter's. It was.. well, the salad was good, although the lettuce was a bit stingy. (I'm a lettuce salad person. I don't eat tomatoes, I don't eat eggs, I don't eat cucumbers although I really like them by themselves. A salad is all about lettuce for me.) But that's to be expected, since there's a substandard lettuce issue due to bad weather. Impossible to find good lettuce at grocery stores right now either. Anyway. We had ordered an appetizer thingie to split as our meal, with the salads, and I was partly through it when I found a hair. It was short and blonde, and therefore not mine. (I don't have any short hairs, and my hair isn't that light.) Eww. But they took them off the bill, and all was relatively well. Except I went to bed kind of hungry. *giggle*

I think I'm in the mood to complain.

My head hurts, my back hurts, my eyes hurt, and I'm sleepy. It's cold, it's rainy, and the bad weather is expected to continue. My creativity is low this week, my restlessness is high. FoodTV's much advertised potato weekend doesn't start until April 20, and why must they advertise a few shows about potatoes over a month in advance? I need to clean the bathroom, and I forgot to switch the laundry over. I can't come up with anything to make for dinner tomorrow. My hair is tangly, and our new webhost sucks at speedy support. I'm unemployed and unable to find a job that I'm supposed to be qualified for. I'm not excited about Easter this year, and I'm almost 23, which is entirely the wrong age for me to be, as I'm obviously 20. We'll probably have more trailers in front of us soon, which will mean we can't see the road or the parents house, and the dishes which I just did this afternoon are stacked up on the counter from dinner. I ordered unmentionables online and they won't be in for up to two weeks, and the computer room is stacked with junk. I'm almost finished with my last new (used) book, and I have to read Lord of the Rings or something boring when I get done. My toenails need painted, and I could use lotion in unlimited regions. My baby has to work tomorrow, and I have leftovers to look forward to. Since I came down with the stomach flu the day we ate there, the thought of Chili's has made me queasy, and it's one of my favorite places, and that sucks, because it doesn't seem to be going away. My fingers are freezing, and Friends has been a rerun for the past three weeks, or was it only two? And by golly, I want to go to our Chinese place in Gatlinburg.

Yes, that was good. (And notice that, although my head is aching, I'm not complaining about the mandolin behind my head. I'm very nice that way.)

Dinner was good (burritos and cheesey spicey rice mush.. okay, the rice could have been better), Other than that, nothing much spectacular about today, except for my baby's sheer cuteness. :) Actually, the day has sort of been sucky, but perhaps tomorrow will be better. One can always hope. :)

G'night folks. ;)
