Wednesday afternoon
Apr. 3rd, 2002 05:27 pmIs 5:00 afternoon or evening?
Today has been not bad. I woke up from a nightmare about spiders and decided not to go back to sleep for fear of another one. ;) Read for a while and got ready for the day and stuff. I had an early waffle lunch. I called the phone company and fixed our longdistance issue (I switched to MCI, then when I got the papers yesterday I found that the chick had lied to me about their rates.)
I got my check from my secret shopping of last month, and that was fun. So I took it to the bank and cashed it, and went to the computer store to buy power cords for Dad's computer, and then to WalMart to buy my precious some insoles, and to the grocery store. If all goes well, my hubby will adore dinner tonight. Sandwiches! With fresh bread (as in, just baked. You can buy it unbaked, or really partially baked, and bring it home to bake it the rest of the way, and we're going to try it.) and with beef and whatever else looks good for a hot sandwich and wrapped up and baked. This is an experiment, though, so it may not turn out quite as well as I'd like.
So now I have 2.5 hours before Magnus gets home. A very small portion of that time will be spent cooking, and I'm just not sure what I want to do until then. I suppose I could do dishes, and clean up a little. *ponder* Doesn't sound like much fun, does it? No, indeed. :) But writing more about a day that wasn't all that spectacular is certainly out of the question, so... wabies!
