Saturday morning
Jul. 20th, 2002 12:01 pmWe're not entirely sure what the plan for today is. It's our next to last day of vacation, so it feels like we should do something special. What that would be.. I have no clue.
Yesterday we went to Lexington, as planned, to get the car serviced. There was an electrical light thing that came on. We spent $200 in buying the part and having it put in (not to mention waiting two weeks.. but the car was fine to drive in the meantime, at least). Guess what? Still not fixed. They said it might be something else but they couldn't tell unless they fixed the first thing. Soo.. now we'll have to spend even more money on it. Argh. Also, yesterday morning, Magnus waited at the courthouse for the people who were buying the Cavalier to show up. At 8 am. And they didn't show. Amazing, as they were majorly interested and kept calling the day before. The car appt was at 10, and took a bit over an hour. We went to one store, but then really just didn't feel like shopping, so we ate at a new Mexican place (new to us) and came home. Spent the rest of the day just hanging around the house, mainly. Had tortellini with alfredo sauce for dinner.. pretty good. Nothing special.
Incidentally, Brad did come over on Thursday night. He had dinner with us (the steak was good.. but it got a little too done all of a sudden. Oh well--the taste was good and it wasn't too tough.) The boys played network games all night and had a very nice time. :)
