Wednesday evening
Aug. 7th, 2002 07:06 pmI wonder how long one can successfully make two meals a day without going to the grocery store? I don't even remember the last time we were there. :)
I just realized that I haven't posted in six days. I know I've been negligent lately, but this a bit more than average. At the moment, I'm zipping my way through Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan). This makes my third reading. The 10th book is due out in November (FINALLY!) so I'm preparing. I thought it was October, at first.. had I known, I probably wouldn't have started on them this early. Not that it matters, I suppose. I should still remember everything by then. However, I've been reading less than a week and am in book four now. This is extreme, even for me. I'm greatly enjoying it, though, so that's all that matters. Actually, it's probably directly related to how little I've been journaling, at that. :)
So anyway. Oh! We have a copy machine now! Magnus got it from work. It's a small "portable" one that he's supposed to keep in his car. Hardly anyone does this, because they're so clunky and unreliable anyway, and who wants a copier in their car? So he brought it inside and now we can make copies! How cool is that?! :)
The husband has now called my cousin Brad to ask him how his socks are. Are they blue? Can I borrow a canoe? He's so incredibly silly sometimes it's painful. We're supposed to go up there and talk about cellphones, so he was calling to see if they were home. And.. guess what? They are. So I have to go now, argh. We need to be home by 9 cause Alton Brown is on! Yay! Maybe more later.. I wouldn't hold my breath, though, at the rate I've been going!
