Smurfy goodness.
Apr. 1st, 2003 10:00 amMy husband has recently decided that I'm a Smurf. I'm not sure where he got this idea, but he's sticking with it. He says I'm cute, I'm blue, and I'm three apples tall. I do wear a lot of blue clothes, and I am short, but does that make me a Smurf?! He especially likes to call me a Smurf when he's speaking Swedish to me. I have no clue why this is. Oh, and my cellphone (which is pale blue) also rings the Smurf theme song.
Eeek! I am a Smurf!!
Anyway, he sent me an email this morning saying Happy Smurf Day.. that's what made me think of it to write about. I asked him this this morning if there was anything he wanted to say to me, as it's a holiday. He, of course, does not know which day it is, so he decided it must be Smurf Day. It's actually International Tatting Day, which I can safely say now that he's finally thought of it. (I did tell him about it a week ago or something.) I realized later that it would have been funny if I'd spent the morning making him try to figure out why he should be buying me a present only to say "Haha! April Fools!" at the end of the day, but I really didn't do that. I have to admit that I don't really expect to be celebrating this much, but still.
