Well, here's a somewhat welcome switch. I have a bunch of online/computery things to get done, and I don't much feel like working on them, but housework sounds alright. I have three Swedish projects to work on (two emails and an intro post to [livejournal.com profile] learn_swedish, plus a thing or two to do at Bjorn, I want to check out [livejournal.com profile] drottningen's new site, and I also need to fix our network issue.

My right wrist and left arm are aching some today, and it seems to be getting worse. It's the same kind of pain as I got right after one of the concessions events we did last year. We helped my Dad do a fried veggies concession stand.. that's another story entirely. I'm a kickass veggie fryer, btw.. I bet you didn't know how multi-talented I am! It's somewhat stressful, lifting the baskets and shaking them and dumping them, but I have no idea what happened with this particular incident because I'd done it more and for longer periods of time before. I woke up at three in the morning with my arms and wrists aching like crazy. I was afraid I was having a heart attack. I got out of bed and realized that it was centered in my wrists and shooting upwards instead of upper arms trailing downward and relaxed a little. Anyway, I've had it to a lesser degree when I've overused them since then. I can't explain what it feels like.. it's a constant pain and not a throbbing, but it ebbs and flows a little. It kind of reminds me of being nervous.. you know, that twisting feeling you get in your stomach when you have to do something you really don't want to do and you're nervous as hell? It flows like that, only with a sort of burning pain instead of nerves. Anyone know what I'm talking about/have this problem?

I'll stop complaining now, I know no one wants to hear it. :) I think I'll go work on laundry and similar, and then try to get my computer stuff done. Maybe I'll feel more like it later on this afternoon. ;)

Big hugs to [livejournal.com profile] ozswede.. we've all missed you here. :)

I got off my timid rear and made an appointment with Dr. Bob the Chiropractor. I must say that we've made fun of my cousin for her fanatic praise of the man, but I at least have a good recommendation for him. So I'll go check out my arm/shoulder issue on Friday. Maybe it'll even help.

I've been a little moodier than usual lately, but the worst episode by far was in March. I was sitting in the livingroom staring blankly at the television when Magnus walked into the room and asked me what was wrong. I looked at him, burst into tears and said, "I don't have a Serta counting sheep!!"

The following arrived today as a semi-late birthday present.

My #1 sheep!

I think it's pretty wonderful the way he goes out of his way to make my life complete. :) *hsigh* He's the sweetest hubbly one in the whole world! How can I not be happy now that I have everything?!
