I received a very lovely package from the very lovely
paradisecowgirl last night. *beam* Om jag var en duktig flicka så skulle jag redan ha svarat henne på svenska! (Maybe that'll tide you over through the weekend.. giggle. I'll get to it eventually! Really! I just haven't been working on it much lately.)
I didn't end up working yesterday, but I did work today for about six hours. It was extremely slow, but not too boring, at least. I wasn't completely exhausted by the end of the day, either.. I rather think that ten hour days at a fruit market are a little excessive. I'm not sure what's going to happen with working now that Carolyn is off work due to the wreck. I guess we'll see. She's not too horribly injured, btw. Her neck isn't broken, which was apparently a concern, just very badly bruised, and she has four broken ribs and a black eye and assorted bumps and scrapes.
I had lots of things to ramble about. For some reason, I can't think of any of them right now. We just got a credit card bill for an unearthly amount of money. At least, it feels like an unearthly amount. M uses it for gas--and he drives 140 miles a day. We pay it off every month, though, so it's not like we pay interest on it. Nice of the credit card companies to provide such a service for free, eh? ;)
M is watching Total Recall, so I thought I'd go keep him company.. at least for a little while. Argh. :) Not my kind of movie, but chocolate chip cookies and fuzzy navels sans orange juice (which I refer to by an affectionate but somewhat offensive name) are in my near future, so I won't complain about stupid movies too much.. :)
