Randomness

Why am I writing this instead of assembling evidence of our life together? We're allowed to file the next round of immigration junk on Saturday, which means that I could mail this stuff off now, as it has to go to Texas. And beyond that, if it takes them more than 90 days to process it all, Magnus could be deported. Yet still I'm slacking. Ridiculous. I already have the form filled out and everything. I suck. I've been saying that a lot lately. It's not that my self-esteem has suddenly plummeted or anything.. I just said it once out of the blue about something silly and Magnus laughed til he cried and now it's stuck. It typically makes people blink and look at me like I've grown a second head, which is an interesting effect.

My tablet just fell off the back of the keyboard tray and the edge hit the top of my foot. It really hurt. I have to say that I'm not greatly in love with the new desk. It doesn't feel like home. (And it also does things like attack me with mousing equipment, which doesn't exactly help to endear itself to me.) But then again, I had the other desk for five years or something, so it stands to reason that I'd be sentimentally attached to it. Also, we don't really fit as well in the room with these desks.. our chairs are touching at a 90 degree angle, which means that if I sit down too hard, he screeches at me. He's going to have a conniption fit when he sees that I said he was screeching. It's just not a manly thing to do, you know. I wonder what a conniption fit entails, exactly? Because to tell the truth, he's not really going to throw a tantrum of any kind. He might bite me. If I'm lucky. ;)

Wow, this is the most random bunch of drivel I've posted in a while. Arguably. I've been catching up with mail tonight. I just haven't felt like being sociable lately, I suppose. The mud is back up, though, which is nice. I don't think I mentioned that it was down.. the owner's electricity got cut off, and he was hosting it himself. Soo. Another mudder (Ardis) is hosting it now, which is extremely nice of him. We're even having a conversation, which is interesting. We're all typically idle most of the time these days. Yet it's very important that it be available, somehow.

I guess I could tell the story about the lady who made me cut a watermelon up for her or the ex-cop from California who wouldn't buy our beans at any price, but I figure it's time to look for some paperwork and head to bed. Tomorrow is Friday, and I also get to leave early for my massage (which I'm very uncertain about my feelings on.) I've worked 40 hours this week already, though, so anything that lets me leave early is a good thing!
