Weekendness.

Soon! Weekend! It can't come quickly enough for me. I have a little less than two hours left, unless we have stragglers coming in at six. I hate stragglers. I can see where my parents, who see profits from actual sales, would want to keep them coming in even if we're trying to close, but I, seeing profits only from an hourly wage that doesn't include any time I stay past six, wish we could put up a freaking gate on the entrance to the parking lot. I hear echoes of my former self laughing at restaraunt staff that clearly wish we'd leave so they would close..hmm. I actually still feel very little pity for them, now that I think about it. It's not like we were there past their posted closing time, after all. These people will happily walk in at 6:20 if we don't have the doors down. (There are big garage doors on the inside of the glass doors.) One lady actually pecked on the window until I opened it back up one night. That was one cucumber she couldn't live without, apparently.

There have been people running about most of the afternoon, so this is a bit later in the day than I usually start with a journal entry. Also, three different people have been playing silly games on the computer. We had the machine in the back for a long while but no one ever used it. I couldn't because I couldn't tell when someone came in, but no one else played games or anything, either. Now that it's up here, everyone wants to sit in here and play. The funny thing about it is that generally, the people who come to visit congregate in the back room. (I realized I didn't have any pictures of that in the gallery folder for the store, so I took some today.. uploaded tonight) So they come in here, play, and then leave. Weird.

I actually got sidetracked at work with something else (friends-only post upcoming) and so now it's nearly bedtime. We did the going out to eat thing, which was nice. We're rather bored with all the restaraunts in town, though, so nothing all that special. We've nixed the plan to go to Kentucky Kingdom tomorrow (dunno if I mentioned that that was the plan) because of the weather. It was a beautiful day today and is supposed to be the same tomorrow, but I think it was just a little too cool to run around in a water park. Soo.. we might go shopping instead. Nothing's really set yet, but we're leaning towards it at least. Glad it's Friday, at least!

Oh, and I was wondering.. reebert, is moral_dilemmas going to return from idleness? :) Just curious!
