Sunday night.
Nov. 23rd, 2003 08:40 pmWow. I actually got hacked. Consideirng that it didn't lose me any valuable information and didn't take too long to get put back in order, all's well now. I noticed a wiki disappearing (yes, the one you're thinking of if you know of a wiki that's being used of late) and being replaced by a black screen first. Brazilian punks. Then I started noticing the certain index files of certain directories of our web server was gone. I've never had this problem before with them, so we'll see what happens. As far as I know, I've fixed all four instances I found of it. I was going to blame it on the wiki, but a non-me account was also done, which made me happyish. Eh, well, as Steph mentioned yesterday, nothing is secure online. It'll be okay. :)
This zine project is tremendously exciting and terrifying. There's so much going on that it's completely overwhelming. It's incredible as far as creative energy goes, though. We don't have a name yet, but I think there might be a vote tomorrow. This makes me slightly nervous, since I really don't want to end up with a name I don't like. Oh, well. I'm sure whatever we end up with will be good.
M has been sitting on the couch most of the weekend. Last night I sat with him and played on the internet, but tonight we're in separate rooms. I'm being very good about not pestering him to play with me, since I really think he's been needing some relaxation time. It works out fairly well this weekend, though, because I've spent a lot of time with the big zine project, so I've had stuff to do. I usually get bored when he sits and stares at cartoons for two days.
So I was thinking I might try to keep an eye out for what I'm thankful for, given that it's the week of Thanksgiving and all. I'd like to be one of those families that has to go around the table and say what we're thankful for--my kids are going to hate me for making them do crap like that. I might even make this feature last all week. I'm a fan of things that go on for an extended period of time. Last year, I made desktop backgrounds for M from November 1st to November 18th every single day in honor of our anniversary. That was fun, although I was certainly ready to stop when the time came. Anyway. Not the point.

Things I'm Thankful For
- M, who makes me happier than I ever thought I could be.
- My family, who love me even when they don't like me. (Now I have the standard answers out of the way. Yay!)
- My nose. It's cute and I got it from my Granny. Lots of people don't have cute noses. No offense if that happens to be you.
- Overwhelming creative energy and enthusiasm.
- Sunflower seeds with no shells.
