In which Kisha has a silly husband.
Mar. 21st, 2004 01:26 amM will often hang around the kitchen while I cook dinner, asking if I need any help. I usually say yes and then can't think of anything for him to do, so he gets bored soon enough with that. Tonight, I was rather pleased with myself for having something in mind. I asked him to beat a couple of eggs for me. I looked over in a minute just in time to see him hold the egg in his left hand and smack it to bits with his right hand. "You told me to beat it!" He's so silly. I wonder if he just tries to discourage me from asking him for kitchen help. :)
We didn't have company today. Actually, I knew that last night but didn't mention it. Jenny left a message on the machine while we were at the party last night. Apparently she's still sick and so they didn't come. We spent the day playing cards and doing light shopping. We bought a new card game.. Spite & Malice. It's kind of like Skip-Bo except meaner. We figured that with a tagline like "If you can't beat 'em, annoy 'em" it HAD to be something M would like.
I'll leave you with a random piece of trivia about me--in the last thirty-six hours I've had four showers. I know some people talk about Americans and their excessive showers. I guess now I know why. :)
