Crazy like a fox!
Mar. 31st, 2004 02:58 amSome days, it just seems to be impossible to get out of bed. M and I actually do spend a lot of time working on this or that project, but we also try to not worry about it too much when we can't get going. Soo.. today we took a personal day.. slept in and went bowling in the afternoon. It was quite nice. He beat me, though, which I find unfair.
After we got home and had dinner, I finished up with the content for Mosaic Minds. I'm pretty happy about that. I'll look over it tomorrow, fix some errors, tweak the formatting in a few places, etc.. then it'll be ready to go live. More details (many, many more details) tomorrow, most likely.
Oh! I was sitting here blankly, trying to think of something else to say, when M reminded me to write about the thing we saw on the way home--a high-speed chase on the highway! Really! Sirens wailing and everything! Luckily, it was coming towards us (on the other side of the grassy divider) and not passing us. There were several cop dudes chasing, and the idiot behind the wheel had already lost one tire. I just don't understand what these morons hope to achieve. Surely they don't think they're actually going to outrun the police in a ratty old car that wasn't as fast as the cop cars are before it was running with a flat tire. And.. on the interstate, no less! It was at least ten miles to the next exit, and nothing worth mentioning there even if he did get off. It's a very rural area we're talking about. You can't exactly get lost in a crowd of people in Owingsville... a crowd of cows, possibly.. but most of the time even us hillbillies can tell a car from a cow.
I don't even know if that made sense. I'm not feeling particularly clever or enlightened tonight. I think I'm sleepy, which makes sense given that it's nearly morning already. I'm also extremely hungry, but I don't really think now is the time to throw together an omelette or something. I might have to go to bed to keep myself from having a snack, at that.
Oh, one other thing. I seem to be losing emails. If you've sent me something that I haven't responded to, try me again.
