A few thoughts..

This stupid thunderstorm (dangerous! take cover! it's raining! beep beep beep turn to channel 10 right away beep beep rain rain raiiiiin!) cut into the time I was setting aside for writing. We went downstairs, away from the window just beside the power line, and had the computers off. We lost the power a few times in the space of a minute, but other than that, there were no real noticeable results of the storm. That made us glad we had turned the computers off, because usually, we turn stuff off and nothing ever happens.

I was in a much better mood today than yesterday, which was nice. I noticed tonight while fiddling with a few things online that I wrote the same thing last week on Thursday. It must be a pretty hopeful, cheerful kind of day. Now I just wish that it was Friday so I could get on with the weekend. I'm looking forward to the holiday very much.

Tomorrow, I really need to get my driver's license renewed. Apparently, the office closes at 4:30, so we couldn't go today after work like I had planned. Do they do that just to annoy people who work? It's not annoying enough to have to go down there, after all. Might as well make people take off work to do it. We're going to go during my lunch hour fifty-two minutes, I guess. That will hopefully be enough time and allow me to grab something quick to eat. I'll miss being able to come home for a few minutes, though.

Oh, and we went by Jo-Ann's (fabric/craft store) this afternoon and looked around. The day's moving-related news is that I officially live in a town now that sells tatting shuttles. How exciting! I don't like the ones they carry, and I won't want to buy one, but still. It feels good to know that I have the option. ;)

M keeps turning the tv off and on every few minutes. It's driving me crazy. I'd better go to bed. ;)
