New Arrival!

I am so very pleased to announce the arrival of Elizabeth Raine Spears, the newest cousinly addition to my family. She was born at 6:10 pm today and weighed in (three weeks early!) at nine pounds and eight ounces, and 21 inches long. The worry about whether or not her lungs had developed enough to be born this week (it had been planned for Friday due to her size, but Angie went into labor this morning anyway) were apparently in vain, as she wailed--loudly--for at least the first two hours of her life. :) Mom and Baby are both doing fine. I feel like such an idiot for forgetting my camera at home, but I'll be posting pictures as soon as possible.
