I've been reading a lot of stuff online lately. It tends to make my head hurt. Here's an example: woman gets shot in the head while driving a semi and manages to park the thing without wrecking. That's pretty amazing, but what gets me is this:
Anyway. There are only 480 minutes of work left this week, and I'm feeling pretty pleased about that. I sort of have a busy weekend lined up. I have to go to a baby shower in Lexington on Saturday afternoon (another of the married-to-a-Swede crowd reproduces), and there will probably be some visiting before and/or afterwards with J and A (for those just tuning in, they're also a Swedish-American couple.) Sometime after that, we're going to a LAN party hosted by a friend from work and her husband. (Picture a party where everyone brings their computers and plays games on a network.) I'm a little nervous about this because I am very much a geek but I am not so much a gaming geek. Rather, not so much at all. Actually, games of that sort make me really really queasy. And I suck at them. Big suck. It generally sounds like they have fun, though, so we'll see how it goes. You have to love going to something called Lan-o-ween! :)
The small-caliber bullet shattered the driver-side window last week as she cruised I-44 about 70 miles southwest of St. Louis. She suffered no serious head injuries and was released from a hospital the next day with a few stitches.Investigators want to know if the incidents are related?! What exactly do they need in order to guess that the ninth vehicle on any given section of road to have a spontaneously exploding window is probably related to at least a few of the first eight window explosions? I had no idea that it was such a common occurence in Missouri that they can't keep their drive-bys straight.
Holder is the ninth driver since February whose window has exploded on that same stretch of road near Bourbon, Mo. Investigators want to know if the incidents are related.
