Eeek! My computer just suddenly spoke to me! It said, "I'm sorry, I did not understand." OOOH! It's the speech thingie in Opera 8! I downloaded the plugin the other day out of curiousity but I forgot to check it out after I installed it. It works! It really works! I'm always so skeptical about stuff like that, but it's so cool that it hurts my head! I just selected the text of paradisecowgirl's post (because I hadn't read it yet.. had just loaded the friends page and skimmed down to where I left off earlier before I got distracted) and told it to speak to me. And then I started typing this while listening to what she's been up to! HOW COOL IS THAT?

I can't see myself ever actually seriously using this feature, but it's really neat anyway. So there.

Knitting Goodness

Lazarus Scarf

This is the famed Lazarus scarf. Glenna said that I have to post pictures of it. I am ever-obedient. I think it turned out really well, actually, and the thick yarn definitely made it go faster. However, I think I don't like knitting with such large needles. I'm a tatter, regular yarn is huge to me. ;)

Harvey is not so sure that he approves. He thinks the edges needs work, and I should rip it all out and start again. This is why I never ask for Harvey's opinions. (Yes, Harvey is that sheep, if you were wondering.)

Hat and one bootie

And, just because I haven't posted a picture of the hat and bootie (the other one is finished, but not sewn up because I am lazy.. but at least I made myself finish it instead of transferring it to another needle like I had planned.) I think the set turned out slightly too small for an actual baby, but it sure is cute. Who, me? Check gauge? Naaah..
