See, here's the thing about that energy-saving tactic of setting the thermostat up really high when you go away on vacation. YOU COME HOME. And, case in point, it is a million degrees in here. Expletive (adjective form) deleted.
So, anyway, we're home. It was an extremely easy day of travel.. the long flight was only half full, so the other guy in our row moved, and we had an empty seat between or beside us for the entire flight of eight and a half hours. (This was nice. Very nice. Nice enough that we were saying that perhaps the next step up from economy is not business class, but merely booking that extra seat.) My internal clock realizes that it's two in the morning but the clock says eight pm yesterday. We've been up nearly 24 hours by now, but actually, I don't think either of us are feeling too overly sleepy at the moment. I really do want to go to bed but there's no point even trying until the temperature goes down about twenty degrees. We've been unpacking a little bit, I've sorted the mail and paid a bill, and have been making sure we have clothes to wear for tomorrow.
We went away for a week and what did my husband do? Why, he unplugged the answering machine! Silly boy.
I have more stuff to write about, and pictures to post, and lots of other stuff which I am sure is important. Right now I am beginning to feel quite tired for some reason...
