never say never

The boy and I have had a pretty good weekend. Today included a pretty nice nap and an excellent dinner out and some grocery shopping. If it wasn't for the whole Monday thing coming up, life would be pretty good. ;) But next week I have Monday off, plus I'll be off on Friday for M's citizenship deal. (Probably should mention that one to the boss.) I am trying to convince M that I should take that day off and Tuesday, too. (I'm scheduled for Tuesday off, the plan is to switch it to Friday.) He keeps reminding me that I will regret it. I hate it when he's right.

I think I'm about to die of nostalgia. I got my very first mud admin position back today, on a mud that will be back online officially in a few days. It's so so weird.. especially considering that I left on a somewhat sour note... six years ago. It's kind of hard to believe that all of that was more than six years ago at all. That sounds like a long time. It also means.. since it's not altogether unrelated.. that M and I have been definitively together in a real-life have-met sort of way for six years and non-committedly together for seven.. which means that we have now been together for over a quarter of my entire life. And.. he's still the best thing that ever happened to me. I had no idea what happy was before I met him. Well, didn't that take an unexpected turn for the sappy?
