I am so worn out this week. I am so, so happy that it's finally Friday. I promised myself I wouldn't write that this time but I can't help it. Mainly, all I feel tonight is relief. Relief that I don't have to work for two days and relief that I have finished Lord of Chaos (book six.) Not that it's bad but that sucker is LONG. The really weird and dumb thing is that when I replaced it in the bookcase and pulled out the next one, I thought, oh, this one is delightfully thin! (Book seven is about when Robert Jordan seemed to realize that the more books he publishes, the more money he makes.) The sad thing? This delightfully thin book is still 850 pages. Gah.
Oh! I just realized something at the end of this book. WTF is with the kings and queens in WoT? Why does a land only have one? It mentions kings and queens coming as a matched set, husband and wife, but every single ruler actually talked about is either single or widowed. It's just kind of weird.
One more thing and then I'm off to bed because my eyes aren't cooperating with me any longer. I laughed out loud at a commercial on television earlier. The commercial was about suits for men, and the narrator rather made me blink twice before I figured it out. "The same designer suits you'll find in retail stores for 50-60% off!" You're doing a commercial to tell me that I can find these suits at half the price in the mall?!! Obviously the mean there to be a break after stores to let you know that it's THEIR prices that are 50% off but it was much funnier the first way.
