(no subject)

I can stay up as late as I want to for I am a very big girl. Never mind that I am so sleepy I am in danger of falling asleep in my chair--it's the start of a four-day weekend and I don't wanna go to bed.

Sometimes I am a good wife, and sometimes that involves fibbing just a little to the husband. Case in point, when the boy asked what we were having for dinner as he was driving home, I gave a noncomittal "dunno" in response, when in truth, dinner was already in the oven. I was feeling bad for him because he's missing Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, so I made an extra broccoli casserole while preparing the one for tomorrow. Therefore, he was surprised and happy and.. well, I really don't know why it was so important that he not know until he got home. It's not entirely unlike him to stop and pick me up something to eat if I haven't eaten already. Anyway, dinner was tasty but now I am full and ugh.

I just realized.. and I don't know why so don't ask... that we have eight pieces of furniture that hold books. Granted, a couple of them do other things, but each location has at least one full shelf. That's kind of weird. We are a very booklike household though so I gues it's okay.

Yep, falling asleep. Must go nap now..
