complete and utter ramblage.

I have a secret. The secret is this: I have absolutely nothing to say. Oh, wait. I guess that wasn't much of a secret given the reduction in posting of late. Where are the darned memes when you actually want them? I can't do the LJ interests image meme cause it tells me that it's been taken down and so sorry about my luck. My boss scared the ever-loving daylights out of me this afternoon by poking his head up above the wall (of an empty cubicle) and saying my name. I nearly said a word or two that would have perhaps been inappropriate and then yelled at him for scaring me. Well. I didn't yell, but it would have been funnier if I had. That's nothing all that unique though because I am jumpy. I used to deny it when M said that but then I noticed that.. well. As badly as it pained me to admit it.. he was totally right about that one. One of the things that freak me out easily is when someone unexpectedly says my name in order to initiate a conversation. I theorize it's because my name is uncommon and I have rarely heard anyone use it except when speaking directly to/about me or are engaging in a conversation about names. But then, I am like The Daily Show in that I make shit up, so I would take that with a grain of salt if I were you. I have also been thinking about the nature of posts and specifically funny posts, but all of that is just bouncing around aimlessly in my head so that I can't tie it together enough to post about it and I probably wouldn't even if I could because I have weird rules in my head about what I can and can't post about. Also, that line of thought made me picture Herman's Head right now. Am I the only one who watched that? It sure wasn't on long. i have a talent for picking shows to watch that get axed. Maybe this is why I don't watch much television--I don't like stuff that other people like, apparently, as my stuff always gets canceled, while they make yet another season of Survivor or whatever is popular now, I don't know. Homefront, at only two seasons! That one sitcom that I can't remember the name of but featured the guy who plays Monk now. Thieves. There's no way in hell Veronica Mars will last past this season. Sorry about that.)

But, since the secret is out now.. I guess I might as well stop babbling and go to bed. Is it Friday yet?
