I don't know why, but my spider phobia has actually increased in the last month or two. I woke up at three this morning, in a panic because I had been dreaming of spiders all over my bed. I was also confused because my eye was sore, as if scratched, and I couldn't figure out whether or not I should get up and go try to clean it, and the likelihood that not doing so would mean that my eye would hurt all day long. I have very sensitive eyes. I fell asleep while trying to decide and it turned out okay, for once. But I haven't had any particularly traumatic spider episodes recently (other than
queen_b980 dropping by to tell me about people who have been bitten by spiders three times this year and the scarring thereof. j/k, D.) I wonder what's up with the random increase in phobia?
How is it that Eddie Izzard is so damned funny while speaking French to an English-speaking audience?
I spent an hour writing an email that was not easy but I felt like I needed to write, and then M and I had a spontaneous lovely conversation, and.. now it's bedtime, and I was really planning on going to bed an hour ago. I had such an awful night's sleep last night (what with the spiders and later dreams) that I thought it would be a good idea to catch up on some sleep. Oops!
