Spending money for the sake of spending money is fun. The fact that we were on a shopping spree was worth just about as much as the $425. Oh, the choices! Look at this little gadget that allows you to play music from the PC to your stereo wirelessly! And look at this tool set! And how about a plasma television? Or a king-sized bed? (Those last two: yes, and yes, but I'm not paying the difference for the first one right now, and how would we get the second one home even if it did happen to be the bed we wanted to purchase?) So, we bought ourselves a digital camera, memory card and various household items. We are very excited about the camera. It's a Kodak C875. We took some pictures today, and transferred them and they seem to look good. We didn't really take anything that needs desperately to be shared with the internets, though.

After our shopping spree, we headed off to visit with my parents, where I finally had my stromboli from Pasquale's. That has been my number one craving so far. I think of it every single day, how good it sounds and how I want one. Of course, they're closed on Sundays, which is when we're normally in town, and it's a bit far to drive just for dinner (a total of three hours.) After lunch, I walked next door and got a hair cut (verdict: probably cute. definitely lighter.) and then we watched the Christmas parade. Very small town cute, but also very cold. [insert picture of me sitting wrapped in a blanket on the back of Dad's truck here, because I'm too lazy to resize and upload and link at the moment.] My niece was in the parade.. she's a cheerleader. We have a picture of this, too, but it's extraordinarily crappy. Later, we went down to the arts and crafts fair on campus. It's often really nice, but was pretty bleh this year. It was a really nice day.

It also left me exhausted, and the only reason I'm not in bed right now was that I refused to go to bed at nine twice in one weekend. I'd better get going that way now, though, because I'm worn out. Again.
