Sunday night, I asked M to rub my back. While I was waiting for him to come, I laid down in bed on my back. When he arrived, I rolled over--or shall we say, I tried to roll over, but sharp, shooting pains encircled my belly and I had to stop. I had a restless night, and my belly was sore on Monday, and I've had strange little aches and twinges since. Last night, I suddenly realized that my belly? Has completely popped out this weekend. It's hard, and round, and kind of adorable if you can overlook the fact that it wasn't exactly gorgeous before. So, my theory is that things are extra-stretchy now, hence the major attack of round ligament pain on Sunday night. I completely made that up, but it sounds good, doesn't it? Of course, you can't really see it unless I take off my pants, but it feels very sweet. In other belly-related news, I began feeling it as an entity last weekend. We hit a bump on the way home from M's Christmas party on Friday night, and I could feel it sort of bounce, then again the next day when we ran across the street. That's new!

I would have written more, but I accidentally fell asleep again. Pregnancy is fun!
