Lately, I've kept the laptop on the couch and I've been reading the internets while feeding the baby. That makes it harder to type anything but I've gotten lots of random internet time in, which has been lovely. But then today, the laptop got very sick, and it went away and wouldn't come out and play with me. I was sad. I was especially sad since it refused to do anything and I knew that if it died forever, we couldn't afford to fix it or replace it. We're in a frugal stage of our life in order to manage me staying home, and though paying the bills is fine, we wouldn't be able to justify putting money in something we don't need in the slightest except as a toy. Evelyn has been a little crankypants all day, and had worn on my last nerve and then the laptop broke, so I was headed into a funk. M grabbed the baby and said, "hey, let's go to JoAnn's!" Is he not swell/ We arrived 45 minutes before they closed, just in time to take advantage of the last few minutes of a super special sale. They were already taking their signs down so I had no idea that anything was on sale until I heard a couple of old ladies talking about it. Unfortunately, the thread that I bought, while 50% off, was over twice as much as I thought it was, so I didn't feel like I got much of a discount. :)Boo.
Then when we got home, the laptop worked! Fabric AND a working computer! It must be my birthday!
