can i go to bed yet?
Nov. 6th, 2008 10:56 pmThis week has been long and crazy and insane and did I mention long? See, the gun world? It has gone absolutely mad this week. OMG, if Obama wins, I will never be able to buy a gun again! I had better buy some now! So, M had to work late Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, Evelyn got into super brat mode in the afternoon, and then decided that she was too good for bedtime. Today, M had to go to the funeral home visitation after work for a coworker's husband, who died on Tuesday--which of course also means that they're short-handed this week. We have been counting down the hours until Friday night...... and now he has to work on Saturday for "a few hours". Ugh! On the bright side, he is getting a lot of overtime this week and that is good for our economy, such as it is.
I think there should be a law against election commercials being played after Election Day. As a matter of fact, I think that this should be a crime punishable by death, just like for spammers. Man, things would be different if I were in charge. I'm not a soft-hearted weenie at ALL, can't you tell?
M's parents bought us a webcam for Christmas last year. It is now November, and we still haven't gotten it set up yet. There have been reasons and excuses but mainly, we just suck. I want them to see their grandbaby though. She's pretty spectacular, if I do say so myself.
She's also weird, our little girl. Tonight, she found a canister of oatmeal in the pantry, and she decided that it was her potty. Note that she does not yet have a portable potty out in the bathroom or anything, she just decided that she was going to go potty on the oatmeal in the kitchen, so she sits her little butt down precariously on the oats and said, "pah pah! pah pah!" which is how she says potty. Maybe she's ready for potty training! HAHAHA. Or she's just an oddball. One of the two.
