I just got back from CVS, where I bought water, two bottles of Listerine and a diabetes testing kit (this makes four..haha) for (carry the one, subtract the two, multiply by six and divide by eight) a profit of two cents. Or I paid two cents. Well, it's something with a two. The math on these deals gets so complicated. I miscalculated mine today and the register ended up with a negative .43 as my total, so I had to pay more out of pocket to fix it than I wanted to. Still, it's the first time I've ever seen a negative balance at the register so I guess that's cool in itself. It's not hard to do at CVS, though, really. I don't totally understand what happened today, because to be honest, I think that I didn't get charged tax. Basic calculator skills just now tell me that they undercharged me. Awesome. ;)

Am I a bad mom for letting E play with a pointy straw from a Capri Sun? ... Uh, actually, I think we both thought that was a hypothetical question but it turns out the answer is: Yes. Yes, I am. I usually let her drink the last of the pouch, which is how she got the straw. I looked over just now to hear her crunching away at the plastic wrapper from the straw. Oops. Little dorko.

Speaking of which (the dorko part).. this morning, we were having lots of fun with the ticka-ticka-ticka-baby game (as she calls it). There were tickles, there were kisses, there were lots of laughs, and I asked her who she loved, and then if she loved Mama. She cocked her head to the side, thought about it a minute and then slowly started shaking that little head, and then more vigorously. no no no no. So I asked her who she DID love, and the little brat said "Dada!" Then she got up off my lap, ran away from me and said, "DADA."

I think I shall disinherit her. And save her next poopy diaper for Dada.

I jest. I think it's awesome how much she loves her daddy. (Helps that I am kind of still her favorite person.) I read about a baby that cried every time it saw its daddy and how heartbroken he was and I think that would be awful.

I only have sixteen minutes remaining on my battery and some peaches to feed to the girl, so I guess this would be a good time to stop writing.
