Shopping Reminders...
Dec. 15th, 2008 02:02 pmJust a note--today is double points day at Ebates, if you're a member. I just ordered a magazine subscription and got 40% back--not too shabby! Of course, in my world, 40% is not really "double" 26% but what the heck, it's Christmas. I'll be generous. I also ordered pictures from Walmart, and while that doesn't give me a heaping amount of cash back... but hey, better than nothing, right? :)
Also, December 18 (Thursday) is Free Shipping Day, with guaranteed delivery by Christmas. I love free shipping... though it says that minimum order requirements may apply. I don't know if it will be much fo a deal for some of those sites or not. That's pretty much your last chance for ordering online before Christmas, so if you're not done with your shopping, today or Thursday would probably be a good time for it.
But what I really want to order is that silly Elmo's Restaraunt, which Amazon has on sale for $40.99. It is really hard to be responsible when you can just SEE what the look on the little one's face would be at Christmas if she walked into the living room and saw that waiting on her. But she totally does not need it and we try not to buy her too much JUNK, especially since her Granny has already bought out all stores for her gifts. :)
