Swedish book recommendations, Facebook confessions and routine ramblings

Which Swedish children's books does Evelyn need? :) She has several random ones (and more about Carl Linnaeus than any one child deserves...) and I am thinking she really could use more. She also has a couple of Tottes and an Emma (which are my personal favorite) and some of M's old books and.. I don't know, just a few different things. I am thinking of compiling a little list, mainly for in-law gift suggestions for Evelyn, and also for purchasing myself..theoretically. Very impractical to buy Swedish language books here in Kentucky but.. you know. I also want her to have some Swedishy clothing but apparently I need to find out how tall she is, according to people who seem to know more about how children's clothes are sold in Sweden than me. She wears between a 2T and 4T here, depending on the item.

Okay, I have a Facebook confession. I hide basically everything on my friends status page that is not posted by a person. I am hiding Farm Town and and Chug It and Fish World and Cafe World and Quiztacular and.. basically everything else auto-generated. I don't really care which Taylor Swift song someone is. I mean, nothing against people who do those quizzes or anything..just.. yawn. So anyway, I hide things, LOTS of things. Nothing personal. However, I have to confess that I felt a little awkward clicking on the "Hide Word of God" link the other day. It was just wrong. (Sorry about that, God.)

However, today, I rather enjoyed "Hide Your Chances of Catching the Swine Flu". Yes please!

I am having a really hard time getting back into an acceptable routine now that Evie isn't napping anymore. I mean, the days are fine but I don't get anything done anymore. I have a laptop in the living room, where we hang out most of the time, but I mainly just use it for browsing--all email and photos and documents are stored on my desktop computer, in the computer room, as are all of my papers and office supplies and printer, etc. We have a wireless network so I could do some stuff that I don't normally do, but I just prefer using this one. But... again with the not getting anything done. I need to figure out a way to have some time in this room when I want it. She's good in here sometimes, but only when she's in the mood for it and I still have to be prepared to stop what I'm doing and go drag her away from < insert dangerous or messy or breakable item here > AGAIN. Ugh. Anyway, it is driving me crazy. By the time she goes to bed, I'm tired and unmotivated so still things don't get done. Maybe if I can just get caught up a little more it will bother me less. I don't know. This isn't really something that I can get help on from anyone but me, but it'd be nice. I also tried to start sewing again, with her in the room, last week. HA! Yeah, that doesn't so much work. But assuming everyone is feeling okay this weekend, M is planning on taking Evelyn shopping with him for several hours in a row so maybe I can actually get caught up on a few things and not feel so crappy about it.

Oh, and yes, I did get some hot steamy werewolf sex in the book I mentioned last time. I know you were all worried about it.
