I am firmly ensconsed on the couch, with stand-up comedians on television, my knitting and a new book beside me, the internet within instant reach (keyboard to be placed at my left as soon as I'm done writing this) and M's book at my right. Soap operas coming up in half an hour. Beverage, remote, telephone in place, and I'm curled up with the "World's Greatest Uncle and Aunt" fuzzy blanket. Do days off get any better than this?

Oh, right. There is also pudding. (In fridge.)

I didn't want to go get a haircut anyway.
