Status Report: Thursday.

same_skyDo you know how freaky it is to hear your heart beat in your ear? My left ear (not the one eaten up by evil bacteria, but the one I had the earache in) still hurts sometimes, but thankfully not much.. but the pulse I can hear most of the time, to different degrees, and it kind of creeps me out.
Anyway, mainly what I wanted to say is that I was up at six this morning to go to work, but that plan was foiled by my burning, itching eyes, which appear to be growing in redness again, and my eyelashes were all flaky with dried tears. (Lovely, right?) I think I've actually caught pink eye again from my husband, who caught it from me. Does my bad luck never end this spring? Anyway, I called in sick again rather than risk giving it to all the lovely, lovely people I work with. And to avoid being at work with itchy, burning eyes, I guess.. I'm not entirely noble about it.. :)
