Operation Preparation.

I was sitting peacefully this evening when suddenly it really, really hit me that tomorrow is the only evening remaining before we leave. I have to do all my packing and get everything done by tomorrow! EEEK! Where did all that time go?! Wouldn't it just be so nice if I had had enough leave to take off the day before we left? That might have made things a tad less stressful. But on the other hand, I do kind of have a few things that I need to take care of at work tomorrow before we leave, so it's just as well.

Just so you know, I'm planning on posting as much as I can while we're gone. Last time we went, we were super-busy, but I posted anyway, so it should be fine. I have a wild hunch that it will be just as bad if not worse this time, in terms of the busy. I've heard the schedule--I'm not even scheduled to breathe until Tuesday! Two successive veteran car markets on Saturday and Sunday (which, of course, isn't really my thing but as long as it's not as cold as it was three years ago, I'll be okay.) and a few family affairs and shopping.

The good news about everything is that, except for the total completion of the aforementioned website I'm working on (and enough of it is done that we can work on it there and I can fix the biggest problem when we get back if I need to)... my to-do list has been taken care of except for ten things that are not in the slightest bit important for before we leave. So, that's a relief, anyway. But on top of all this rushing around getting stuff done.. I woke up yesterday morning with another rash. It was worse today, but it does not seem to be quite like what I had before and is nowhere near as bad. Just.. ugly and itchy. Looks a lot better tonight than it did this afternoon, though. Please, please, please be gone tomorrow. I'm pretty sure at this point that it's a contact rash this time, and I'm also pretty sure I know the culprit--the sunless tanner I tried this weekend. (On the bright side, my fake tan looks pretty nice..) I seem to primarily be broken out in areas where my skin is sensitive anyway--inner thigh, back of knees, neck, etc. In any case, I won't be trying it again. Gee, am I unlucky with my health these days. (I should say.. unlucky, but since I am generally healthy, I am not trying to complain...)

Anyway, it's near bedtime and I have more stuff to do first. Gotta run!

You are really dedicated to post while away. I'm afraid that when I go away from home and the net, I forget everone and everything. Very shallow of me.

Enjoy your time away!

Yeah, but it's all selfish, really. I like to be able to look back and remember what we did when we were gone! :)

Haha! I can relate to panic feeling, but I wouldn't count on the weather here being warm like there. Summer here is 2 weeks in August. The rest of the time if it stays in the 60's its a heat wave.

Regardless, enjoy your stay and don't bring the rash with you ;

Definitely going to try to leave the rash at home. :) The weather forecast is looking pretty good so far. Unfortunately, every time I've been there, I've ruined the weather by my mere presence, so we'll see if it holds.

Thank you! I sure will try! Now, if only I didn't have a day of travelling ahead of me!
