Five Random Things

1. M is listening to the new Aha CD and I just have one thing to say. He says that my music is depressing? Ha!

2. I bought the boy Polarity for Christmas, which is a board game that uses the forces of magnetism. I had no idea if it would be fun or not.. I just saw it online and thought it was neat. We got it out tonight and gave it a try and it really was rather fun. A little complicated at first and it takes a little practice to get it to work, but fun.

3. We did a drive-by on a couple of houses today, which was kind of fun. Haven't done much house-hunting lately.

4. M is reading Servant of the Empire, which is the second book in a (fantasy) trilogy that I bought and read on recommendation by big_bubba and carrieb. I think I'm going to have to make him stop, though. On the way to visit family on Sunday, someone cut him off in traffic and he shouted, "Minwanabi dog!" in their general direction. I'm not sure this is healthy, but it sure did make me laugh.

5. I am not getting enough sleep lately. Probably would be a good idea to go to bed earlier then, wouldn't it?

That just gave me and Mike a good laugh. We needed a good laugh. I am trying to finish my mom's ugly quilt and it is not working and I find myself laying on the floor crying while Mike walks the screaming baby. Maybe calling the quilt a Minwanabi dog would be healtier than the names I have been calling it.

It's amazing how many Minwanabi dogs you'll find on the roads in and around DC. Sometimes I'd like to ride my personal Cho-ja to work. I bet it would be powerful enough to at least make a dent in whatever vehicle annoys me.
