Tuesday night

same_skyToday's been fairly okay. I got some chores done and then spent quite a while on dinner--I made one of the hubby's favorite things.. chicken rolls with an herbed cream sauce. And mashed potatoes. I've also been plagued by the same freaking fly all day long and I haven't been able to kill it. Argh. It's followed me around, tormenting me. On purpose.
Anyway. Last night my hubby got sleepy a little earlier than planned so I couldn't write. Nothing wonderfully special happened, in any case. The parents came down for lunch. I worked on computer things, listened to the TV and read a while. Nothing too different from today, at that.
I ordered my book today! Oh, right. I mentioned that I ordered it before, last Wednesday night. Well, with the holiday and stuff, when I checked on it on .. Saturday? or something, I realized that I had ordered a book on tape for the second book instead of the actual book, and that was certainly not what I wanted. So I cancelled the order, as I didn't have time to edit it. Anyway, I finally got around to reordering it today. See, I was trying to figure out what second item I should get (free shipping, remember?) and suddenly remembered that the new Counting Crows CD is officially out today. So naturally that's what I should order! So that was neat. Now I'm impatient for the stuff to get here!
Tomorrow: car should get fixed, M should get a call from some work people that might influence the whole life thing, new Good Eats episode on. Also a late day. :( Yuck. He's gonna miss Alton Brown!!! :( Truly a tragedy.. but then again, it comes on at 12, too. That's a big relief.. ;) I'll leave you to ponder how serious I am in saying that missing an episode of Good Eats is a true tragedy...
