Sunday night
Today was unremarkable. Magnus is tightening the screws on my glasses and discussing the atrocities of the Republican party and its leaders ethics at the moment, and that's about the biggest level of excitement we've had today. Went to Papaw's and had a pretty good afternoon. The aunts weren't there but all of the girls were, so we had fun. The kids were fairly decent, except Krista was in a bad mood, and so it wasn't too stressful, either. Devon told me he was going to come spend the night with me tomorrow.. rofl. I told him he could sometime, but not tomorrow, as he has to go to school. He's starting his first day of preschool tomorrow.. which overall I think will be good for him (and his mother!) but.. but he's just a baby! :) (He's barely three.) He enjoyed the orientation, though, so.. hopefully all will go well. Also, I didn't lie to him.. he can come sometime, but I don't much see it happening. I highly suspect that he'd cry and want to go home in the middle of the night, and besides that, I don't have a place for him to sleep. I didn't explain this to him, though. :)
Finished book six this morning and forgot to take a break like I said I would.. I'm 145 pages into A Crown of Swords. I'm so pathetic sometimes it hurts. What's even worse is how annoyed we used to get in high school at the friends who refused to stop talking about it, and now I've joined the ranks, and though I haven't spoken to either of them in a long time, I'm 99% sure I've far surpassed their levels of obsession. Oh well.
I'm currently watching Bridget Jones's Diary with Japanese subtitles.. don't ask. In any event, nearing time for bed, so off I go. :)
