It is 3:22. Our closing is at 4:00 in a location that will take about fifteen minutes to get to.

I am home, waiting for my phone to ring.. because Robby, our loan officer, has yet to tell us exactly how much money we have to fork over today. We have an estimate from the night we applied for the mortgage, but no exact amount. He called at 1:45 to let us know that they were "working on it" right now and he'd call us as soon as he found something out.

Did I mention that this amount needs to be as a certified check, requiring a stop at our bank on the way there?

Yeah. Good times.

I know what you're going through...We had a very similar time frame on closing day when we bought our house. It'll work out. And when it's all over, definitely go out and celebrate!
