Wednesday night

same_skyCelebration night! A couple of nice days couldn't go unrewarded, so we decided at 5:30 to go to Lexington (65 miles). We went to Sam's and O'Charley's and Barnes and Noble. Our dinner was excellent, and O'Charley's is officially our new favorite chain/not-in-Morehead restaraunt. (Replacing Chili's, I guess. I haven't eaten there in many months, when Magnus was still working at Bankers even.. I came down with the stomach flu the night we ate there, and I can't think of going there now without feeling queasy. Really sucks. On the other hand, we spend less money and eat fewer calories, so should I really complain?) Oh well. We had a really really nice time. Kinda makes up for the broken Couples Day. :)
I have a vaguely humorous story about the dry-erase board saga of the last few days, but after trying to decide how to tell it for the last two minutes, I decided that it really wasn't humorous enough to warrant spending ten minutes explaining. I suppose it wasn't even funny enough to mention in passing, but I've written this already, and my backspace key is broken.
Well, it's not, but I'm pretending it is.
Also, I had lunch with the parents and got a billion little things done today. Including the vaguely humorous thing with the whiteboard. The tooth is feeling much better, though still kinda sore. It feels like a real tooth now, but I must say that I didn't really think I needed any more. What the heck are they for, anyway? Also, Good Eats will be on in 22 minutes, and this makes us happy.
