sleep would be good.

I was stressing out this morning about having so much left to do for the baby's arrival, so M decided to fully commit himself to Ducky Preparations this week. He isn't all that worried about everything getting done, for some reason, but he's all about making me stop worrying. The plan is to be organized (with furniture in and in the right places, and clothes washed and put away, etc) by the end of this weekend. To that end, we have actually managed to get a lot of stuff done tonight regarding the clothes--more than we expected. We had piles of used clothes that were given to us in a wide variety of sizes, and they were just.. sitting in the living room floor. And the nursery closet. And the dining room. So, they have now been sorted by size and are stacked in piles for washing and then putting away.

He also came home, brought me a book and propped my feet up, and proceeded to cook dinner. It did help my feet, I'm glad to report.

We were awake in the middle of the night last night briefly.. or rather, I was awake and M thought he was--he had been talking to me, at least. Ducky started rolling in circles or something, which felt really funny, so I moved M's hand so he could feel it. What did he have to say? "Mmmm. This is a silly time for her to be awake," he mumbled. This morning? He asked me with some incredulity if I had woken him up to feel the baby move. Err, no, you were awake already, I thought? :) I couldn't help but laugh, though, because in a few months, it WILL be a silly time for her to be awake... and we will sure be hearing about it. ;)

I think organzing the clothes is the hardest part of getting ready. THey are just so tiny and have to be folded and washed and there are so many sizes and then even the ones that have sizes marked are not always the size that they really say they are. Ugh. Good luck!

Might I also suggest that you freeze some meals when and if you get the chance? That really helps those first few weeks.
